We are a group of passionate volunteers who help support children and young adults in Ghana who have disabilities. We fundraise to help get equipment and try to continue to improve the children's quality of life.
Our journey all began in 2018 when Claudia and Caitlin, two friends who met while volunteering in Ghana, were deeply moved by the challenges faced by children with disabilities. Witnessing their struggles and the lack of support, they felt compelled to make a difference. In 2020, they moved to Ghana with a mission to build a school that would provide these children with the education and care they had long been denied. The school has since become a beacon of hope, offering both education and the vital support these children deserve.
Our impact has been profound and far-reaching, touching the lives of children with disabilities and their families in meaningful ways. Since 2020, the School we've built has provided a safe and supportive space for education.
We’ve worked to rebuild homes lost in a devastating fire, offering children a sense of security and hope. Beyond education and housing, we've provided access to medical care, treatment, and insurance, addressing their physical needs and well-being. We’ve also created job opportunities and apprenticeships to help these children build a brighter future.
On top of all this work we have now founded a volunteer organisation/ NGO dedicated to continuing our mission of supporting children with disabilities in Ghana. Through this initiative, we aim to provide ongoing educational resources, healthcare, and opportunities for these children, helping to create a brighter, more inclusive future for them. Our goal is to ensure that every child has the support they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
